Kirsty is an energetic, inspirational and highly experienced trainer, facilitator and coach with over 30 years of cross-industry experience in CI and 20 years’ experience in designing and delivering successful Lean and Lean Six Sigma programmes to a global market and across all sectors. She has an exceptional talent for quickly understanding a company’s true needs and designing and delivering bespoke business improvement programmes that deliver high return on investment and receive consistently high feedback.

Prior to joining Catalyst Consulting, Kirsty was Director of Business Improvement programmes for a leading international Lean Six Sigma training provider where she was programme leader of choice for the business improvement programmes for blue chip companies across the world. She enjoys working at all level of continuous improvement from facilitating strategy sessions with senior leaders down to leading kaizen activity on the shopfloor and coaching belt projects.

Kirsty developed a lifelong passion in root cause analysis and Lean Thinking from working with Japanese mentors first at Fujifilm Electronic Imaging and then working in the prestigious Supplier Development Team at Nissan Motor Manufacturing UK. She was trained in Six Sigma at TRW aeronautical systems where she was part of the ‘Lean Team’ that deployed Lean Enterprise across the organisation and led the delivery of Value Stream improvement across the global business.

Kirsty has a BSc (Hons) in Mathematical Science from Strathclyde University and loves making statistics fun for others.
